Ice Rescue

This course is designed to equip first responders with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to perform ice rescues safely and effectively. The training incorporates both classroom instruction and hands-on practical sessions to ensure comprehensive learning.

By the end of the course, the rescuers will be confident in understanding the risks and safety considerations of ice rescue, essential rescue techniques and equipment usage, how to effectively develop strategies for self-rescue and victim retrieval in various scenarios, and learn the physics of ice and factors influencing ice strength.​
