Swift Water Rescue is an essential skill for any outdoor explorer. In this course you will learn how the river works, how to recognize hazards, and how to mitigate them. You will learn how to safely operate around and in a strong current, how to self rescue, contact rescue, throw bag rescue and many more essential swift water skills. The course consists of 2 days of in class learning and 3 days of practical training in the water.
