Swift water rescue is a specialized form of technical rescue designed to save individuals trapped in or near fast-moving water, such as; rivers, flash floods, or urban floodwaters. This an essential skill for many; from emergency responders to the avid outdoors-person.

Swift water rescue training will provide you with an understanding of hydrology and river dynamics, how to identify water hazards and navigate swift water emergencies. You will learn how to assess risks, form rescue plans, use vital equipment, and develop strategies for self-rescue and victim retrieval.

The course consists of 2 days in class learning and 3 days of practical training in the water.
